Would like it to blend a bit better with my makeup but I do like the SPF 40 protection!
I have sensitive skin that reacts easily to most products with SPF. However, I have been using this product for over 1 year without any problems. I put a dab in my hand, spritz with Stone Crop Moisturizing spray and apply. It has protected my skin very well!
Vanilla smells artificial & perfume-like. Product is too cakey like for my taste, does not blend well or support other products on top of it as it is sticky and thick; does not blend well.
I used to absolutely LOVE this cream: the scent, the texture, everything was perfect. Yes, it wasn't 100% mineral (it had 6% octinoxate), and it is a good thing that Eminence is trying to go all mineral... But this new formulation is a disaster. It does not spread well, leaves my skin feeling chalky and dry, and also has a chalky/dusty scent. I had already noticed this change last time I had ordered this cream, but was encouraged by a more recent review, which said that they had either reverted back to the old formulation, or improved the texture drastically. Not so. The new cream I received (hoping to ditch the previous one, which is not even half-spent) is just as chalky and terrible as the last one. My kids' sunscreen (SPF 50) does a better job at spreading and hydrating... I guess I'll have to try my luck elsewhere for a good SPF day cream.
