About Natural Beauty Group's Brand Criteria Standards

As we select products for our website we like to make sure the products we are choosing make S.E.N.S.E (Safe, Effective, Natural, Sustainable, Ethical). To help assist in this process we created our brand criteria. This criteria helps us evaluate how closely products meet our site standards. The more of the criteria is met, the higer we rate it using our criteria icons. These can be found on each product page, and are a quick guide for you to look and see how the products stack up.

Organic – meets criteria of 70% - 100% organic content per USDA National Organics Program Standards.

Sustainable – ability manage resources to ensure long-term ecological balance, including: indefinite harvesting, net zero carbon footprint, and adopting principles and practices that guard against natural resource depletion.

Gluten Free – products which do not contain gluten.

Made in the USA – bulk of ingredients and components are sourced locally and product is manufactured in the USA.

Vegan – products do not contain animal, egg or dairy, including the use of leather.

Socially Responsible – brand develops positive relationships within the communities in which they operate and society at large. Brand maintains a balance between economy and ecosystems.

Green Chemistry – full cycle ingredient management, including: ingredient sourcing, ingredient extraction and suspension, ingredient production, end product formulation and manufacturing. The invention, design, formulation and application of skin care products and manufacturing processes to reduce or to eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances.

Fan Favorite – product has been positively reviewed by our customers.

Free of Harmful Chemicals – free of harmful petro chemicals and unsafe ingredients, including parabens, synthetic fragrance, artificial color, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), PEGs, and other ingredients which do not comply with consumer watch lists.

Ethically Sourced – ensuring materials and ingredients purchased from developing countries are obtained at market prices to reduce poverty.

Nut Free – does not contain nuts or nut extracts and is manufactured in a nut free facility.
